This is Juniper. I found her in a tree. It was a short one, thankfully.

Well, that's the cutest thing I've ever seen.

Since when do goats live in trees?

She's a pygmy goat and she's also a diva.

They don't. They are just very, very good climbers with a good sense of balance.

What does that mean? Pygmy?

She climbed the tree?

Well, standard sized goats are a little smaller than horses. Pygmy goats never grow bigger than a dog. She's pocked-sized, as they say.

Yeah, she jumped up from a rock and got on the branches. Very talented.

Oh. So it's a type of goat.

Does she do that a lot?

Yeah, she used to climb my bookshelves.

Less so because I got some help in getting this house built outside my building.
